It’s here! The Facebook iPad app is finally here! Log in, and the first thing you’ll notice that the app isn’t crushed into the middle of the screen. Hooray! The front page is where you’ll find your news feed, and you can filter that to show just one type of update if you wish. The top bar allows you to update your own profile with your status, photos or location. And you’ll find your notifications along the top. Open the side bar, and you can delve even deeper. The search will look for everything on Facebook, from pages to friends, and the big picture of you opens your profile. Go back into the side bar, and you’ll find things like your messages, groups, pages, and installed apps. It’s been a long time coming. I’d like to say it’s been a wait that’s proved worth it, but… it’s Facebook. On your iPad. And it’s still a bit crashy. Meh.
