That's why we couldn’t let the launch of the sky news app for windows phone 7 pass without comment. Because when an app does appear on this OS it does tend to look nicer than on many other platforms. Android. The first section has all the top stories, in most cases, accompanied by video. The following tab gives you direct access to the Sky News channel. And if you’re interested in something in particular - UK news, politics, showbiz, you can find it in categories. There’s a tab for video only reports, and if you fancy yourself as a bit of a newshound, you should get involved with Your Report. Here, you can send in your own news report, and attach photos of the event - doing so gives Sky News the rights to show your comments or images, so use your power wisely. The Discuss tab takes you to the blogs, but effectively just routes you through the browser, so it’s nothing to write home about. Totally free, it does an excellent job of giving you your news fix.
