019 Foursquare vs Gowalla for iPhone – App Challenge

Foursquare vs Gowalla is the new David vs Goliath. The new HD-DVD vs Bluray. The new Angelina vs Jen. But ignore the fact that these battles have already been won - with location base-ity, there's still everything to play for. So who will you be checking in with?

Hi Susi and Will,

I just wanted to drop you an email to let you know about MoviePeg for iPad, the latest addition to the MoviePeg family of products.

I thought this may well be something you’d be interested in! I know its not an app but it makes using apps all the better, and its sleek and portable design help people to real utilise their iPad and iPhone 100%.

We launched MoviePeg for iPhone earlier this year at SXSW and have been totally blown away by the response it has had, so MoviePeg for iPad was the natural choice for our next product.

Launched in two colours ‘Pitch Black’ and a limited edition run of 1000 ‘Clockwork Orange’ – designed to pay homage to the beautiful Brionvega TS 502 radio by Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper. When we began to look at the design of MoviePeg as a single object that splits into two, we were reminded of this classic piece of design. We always felt that the TS 502 is most iconic in its black and orange combination, so it seemed to make sense to honour this inspirational object by creating a limited number of MoviePeg for iPad in this beautiful shade of orange.

You can see some of the recent Tweets about MoviePeg on our reactions page http://www.movie-peg.com/reaction

We really felt that there might be an opportunity for us to feature with you and I hope this is something we can talk further about.

People from all walks of life are using MoviePeg to do all sorts of fun and interesting things with their iPad. Great for watching movies and so much more: in the kitchen following a cooking app, watching sports, reading ‘books’, in the board room and keeping younger members of the family entertained and lessening the chance of sticky fingers all over your screen.

The main MoviePeg website is viewable here: http://www.movie-peg.com

There is a press area, which features downloadable images and the reasons behind the product and its design here: http://mnatwork.com/press/moviepeg

I look forward to hearing back from you soon and should you have any further questions please just get in touch.

Thanks,

Paul
