Video Transcript: 313 Whale Trail - iPhone App Review

Imagine a world, where whales can fly, they collect bubbles and their biggest fear is falling back into the ocean and being whacked by a massive octopus monster thing called Baron von Barry. That, in a nutshell, is Whale Trail. Gameplay wise it’s a bit like Tiny Wings, but set in the air. You hold down to move your whale up, release to go down. And that’s it. You need to keep hitting the bubbles to stay airbourne, while avoiding the lighting zapping clouds. Fly to close to the sea or run out of oomph and you’ll fall back in and get boshed by the aforementioned massive octopus monster thing. Oh, and it has an infuriatingly catchy theme song by Gruff Rhys. Seriously. It’s cute, and mental, and massively fun, and mental, and hugely addictive. Oh and mental. Did I mention it was completely mental?
