iPhone Photography is totally a thing, and in fact, the iPhone is the now the most popular camera used on Flickr. But other platforms have been somewhat lacking in fancy camera apps, and the Blackberry in particular. PixTrix is completely free, and offers a range of effects to hipstamaticify your photos Blackberry photos. You can either choose a photo from your camera roll or take your own, although if you do that you then have to go and track it down in your camera roll to edit it. You can then choose from loads of filters, such as RG contrast and cross processing. As you land on each the effect will be applied to the photo, so you can have a good play around before committing. You can also change the brightness, contrast, hue and saturation manually, by scrolling along the bar. From there, you can share or save your photo. Whilst it doesn’t quite boast the hipster UI of the likes of Instamatic and Camera+, it’s free and it plugs a very real hole in Blackberry’s app offerings. For that, PixTrix, we thank you.
