Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you can’t have failed to notice that there’s a certain wedding coming up. Yes, William is about to make an honest woman out of Kate Middleton, and boy are there a lot of apps out there to keep you up to date on the event. The Royal Wedding Hello app is in the minority, in that it’s free and not rubbish. Basically a collection of photos, it looks great on the iPad and gets updated regularly with new content. If you’re an iPhone owner who wants to get out to see the route, you should download the Lonely Planet Royal London Walking Tour. This takes you on a 2kilometer audio tour of the wedding route and uses location awareness to work out where you are. You go via 10 downing street, Clarence House and Westminster Abbey, with the dulcet tones of a royal expert to inform and entertain you. What more could you ask for?
