Video Transcript: 165 Papa Sangre - iPhone Game Review

I’ve found a new game, and it’s unlike other games, which means, by definition, I already like it more than any other game. Papa Sangre takes you to a Day of the Dead style afterlife, to save your friend’s soul. The unique thing about it is that it uses 3D sound, rather than any on-screen graphics. You have to put on your headphones and then use the screen to move in a circle until the sound is ahead of you. You then walk towards it, avoiding various malicious forces, also identified by sounds, on the way. It’s genuinely a little terrifying, but so wonderfully far away from shooting birds at pigs. At £3, it’s one of the more expensive games, but by my reckoning, totally worth it.
