Just because you’re a Blackberry owner, doesn’t mean you don’t enjoy a bit of Matt Damon or Lindsay Lohan, right? Pocket Cinema knows this and wants to cater to your movie-loving ways, as long as you’re a Torch owner, although it’s coming to other handsets soon. Download the PocketCinema app, and then you can browse through a range of titles, viewing the trailers if you’re unsure if they’re any good. They range in price from £2.50 to £4, and once you’ve downloaded the film over Wifi, it’s yours to enjoy an unlimited number of times, for 48 hours. To get maximum value for money, I would recommend clearing your diary for repeat viewings. The range of titles is pretty good, including the Social Network, Salt and, er… Easy A. You have to have a wifi connection to download, which they only bring up after you’ve paid. And the dowload isn’t very speedy - one movie took us over an hour, although it will depend on your own broadband speed. However, plan in advance, and you’ll never be left with nothing to amuse you but Solitaire ever again.
